The Solidarity Fund will provide emergency cash relief to global staff, volunteers, or their families who have been directly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. All funding received through the Solidarity Fund appeal will be rapidly deployed in the form of one-time $300 grants to recipients until all the resources have been fully allocated. The aim is to supplement unexpected expenses and offset financial hardships that have come as a result of the pandemic. You can donate to the fund here.
How to Apply
Staff, volunteers, their families or representatives can confidentiality apply for emergency relief through the Covid-19 microsite. Please email a short statement to Solidarity@IPFF.org. Please include your name, location, contact information and affiliation to IPPF as well as a short statement on how you or someone you know have been affected by the pandemic and how you intend to use the funds.
Award Decisions
A small diverse committee will review all applications and decide allocations based on the stated need and in the order in which the requests are received. Given the immediacy of the pandemic’s impact the committee will aim to make rapid decisions on a rolling basis until the funds raised by the appeal have been fully exhausted.
Applicants who are selected will be notified by the committee and the grants will be released directly to the recipient. The committee lead will report back to the Secretariat in summary upon completion of the project.
